The thrill of chasing milk trucks and livestock farmers in rural Pakistan convinced Momina to trade her professorial pursuits for the rugged world of development. With a background in humanities, specifically history and literature, she has since been knee-deep in the market systems development trenches implementing inclusive economic growth programmes in agriculture, housing, and tourism sectors.
Nowadays, Momina advises an international humanitarian agency on systems approaches in housing, particularly in crisis and recovery settings. Her work spans Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Her diverse roles have given her experience in leading projects, developing strategies, implementing monitoring, results measurement and learning systems, and managing and mentoring teams. She’s also a key member of our core training team.
