Laura is an eternal optimist about market systems, even when they’re a complete mess. With over a decade of experience, she’s built her career untangling agricultural value chains, fostering private sector engagement, and crafting strategies that actually work. After nearly a decade navigating cassava markets, cocoa cooperatives, and the occasional logistical disaster across the African continent, she’s now based in Nice, France. When she’s not enjoying the beach or indulging in a vineyard detour, Laura is back in the field, travelling to support teams tackling systemic challenges head-on.

As an Associate Consultant for the Springfield Centre and an Advisor in Inclusive Economic Development at Swisscontact, Laura provides technical expertise to market systems development projects globally. Equal parts strategist and pragmatist, she’s driven by a love of turning development chaos into results that stick—and by a deep commitment to creating systemic change that is sustainable, inclusive, and impactful.
